When moving to Brighton 6 years ago I never thought I would have stayed as long as I did, however the city has drawn me in thanks to the nightlife, the shopping and most importantly, the beach!

I count myself very lucky to live a stones throw away from the seafront (you can literally see the beach from my flat) and the west Pier, especially when the weather has been as nice as it has been lately. Living on the south coast we are blessed with good weather, which is perfect for picnics/BBQs on the beach, or even just a walk along the seafront.

Recently a friend and I decided to go for a walk along the beach after work, to make the most of the sun – hopefully you enjoy my pictures.

Now I can understand why so many tourists flock to Brighton in the summer. I love the beach!
