Back in 2013, my family and I decided to try something different and opted to spend our Christmas vacation in Istanbul, Turkey. I’ve had friends previously visit Turkey, but majority of the time would have been in summer in the coastal regions, so I was intrigued to see a new side of the country. Istanbul was absolutely beautiful in the winter, with the crisp cool air adding a sense of festivity to our Christmas away from home. It wasn’t our traditional Christmas, but when have my family and I ever done anything traditional 😉
Check out the photos below of some of the main attractions we visited including the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar.
Nice photos!
