Although the distance from London to Brighton isn’t that far, I don’t find myself visiting the city as often as I’d like. However at the weekend, to celebrate my sisters birthday, I spent the day in the big city and explored some of its hidden gems.
I’m terrible when it comes to navigation (especially in one of the busiest cities), so I was lucky enough to have my own personal tour guides to show me around and make the trip that much easier. I was able to visit the south bank centre, taking in some of the culture and art, as well as the local street art. This was then topped off by visiting the Waterhouse Restaraunt, owned by Shoreditch Trust, working to support young people to gain knowledge and develop careers in food. The food here was amazing and definitely worth a visit, even if just to support the local community and the amazing views of the canal. Unfortunately I didn’t take as many pictures as I’d hoped, but hope you enjoy.
