The Rollneck

As the cold continues to batter the UK it is important to keep warm outside, but without compromising your style. Layers upon layers seem to be the only way, but you don’t want to be looking like the Michelin man as you walk down the street…Enter the rollneck. The rollneck seems to have come back with a vengeance in recent months, with every tom, dick and harry sporting one. This doesn’t mean however that you can’t keep your individuality. I’ve gone with a solid black rollneck below, however by opting for bold colours or patterns you can make sure to stand out from the crowd.

It’s a smart casual alternative to your office dress code, without the hassle of doing up a shirt and tie (I’m sure if you’re like me, it’s a chore). Slip it under your blazer or jackets and you’ll look great wherever you go – and also a hell of a lot warmer. In the pictures below, I am wearing a New Look black rollneck, Topman Grey Blazer, Topman Grey smart trousers and Office black loafers – shop the look.

  1. I have a picture of grandpa in a turtle neck looking very similarare to you. Very smart and sophisticated. In the picture he reminded of me of James bond!
